Term 3 2024/25

1st Class went to Causey Farm on their school tour. They saw lots of animals and went on the train around the farm!

1st Class and Ms Kelly's class went to visit the Senior School for the bake sale. Ms Kelly's class stopped for a picnic on the way back!
|
|
Senior Infants went to visit the local fire station. They had lots of fun trying on the firefighter gear, going in the fire engine and using the hoses!
1st Class and 4th Class from the Senior School did some paired reading together!

Active week 2025
We started the week with Tee- off- Tuesday where the children took part in some crazy golf in the hall. We also raised our Active Flag on the yard. Walk on Wednesday was a hit with the 1st and 2nd going on a walk and the infants doing activities on the school grounds followed by a teddy bear picnic in the hall. Sports day was cut short with the rain but all had a great time doing the first few activities outside and then doing some dancing in the hall. We finished off the week with bootcamp in the hall which is always lots of fun! Thank you to the wonderful Active Committee for organising all the great activities and parent volunteers who came to help out on Sports Day.

Junior Infants had a fantastic time on their school tour to Lullymore!

Junior Infants have been learning all about the life cycle of a butterfly. They patiently waited for their caterpillars to become butterflies over the last few weeks and released them on the school grounds.
|
|
Our school worked as a team to complete the 'Skip Around Europe' challenge. The children did a fantastic job and managed to do 177,225 skips. Thank you to the Active Committee for organising!
